Atlantic City, one of the few places where gambling was legal, has recently lost one of its casinos: Atlantic Club has closed on the 14th of January 2014, and the equipment is currently being sold. We should mention that the possibility of bankruptcy was rumoured a long time ago, but visitors still could enjoy tons of classic casino games, such as Blackjack, Video Poker, Roulette, free bonus offers and other promotions.
Some time ago rumours that famous Poker room PokerStars would take over the casino started to circulate in press, but the deal was never closed. Tropicana Entertainment and Caesars Entertainment have become the new owners of the casino, for a relatively small amount of $23.4 million. Atlantic Club has become the first casino to close in Atlantic City since 2006, when the Sands Casino was shut.
Tropicana will take all the equipment, including 1,641 slot machines and 48 Roulette, Poker and Blackjack tables for $8.4 million. Caesars will take over the land plot and the Atlantic Club hotel with 800 rooms.
