Yggdrasil, games and related solutions provider for the online casino industry, today revealed a brand new feature that seeks to help its operator partners to expand engagement and retention. Yggdrasil’s new product is named Jackpot TopUp and, as its name advises, it enables online gambling operators to immediately boost prize pools within the provider’s jackpot games and so increase win potential, while further reinforcing player experience.
Yggdrasil shows off a comprehensive portfolio of local jackpot slots, with Jackpot Raiders, Doctor Fortuno, Holmes & The Stolen Stones, and Ozwin’s Jackpots being some of the most famous ones. The major iGaming content provider offers progressive jackpot slots too, like Joker Millions and Empire Fortunes.
News about Yggdrasil’s new Jackpot TopUp characteristic surface as the provider is also getting ready to release the latest addition to its rapidly growing slots library. That new addition is called Wilhelm Tell and is planned to be in the market on April 15. The game features 20 paylines, Stacked Wilds, and thrilling multipliers.
Commenting on the new Jackpot TopUp feature, Yggdrasil Senior Product Strategist Jonas Strandman said that it offers an new way for online gambling providers to “incentivise players and further distinguish their offerings.” Mr. Srandman also said that their “simple but highly effective solution can put forward additional revenue” for their clients in crowded markets, while offering players even bigger win potential.
The Jackpot TopUp feature is the latest product to join Yggdrasil’s set of tools that seek to offer great opportunities for operators to increase player experience and so retention. Earlier this year, the provider debuted the Splitz mechanic which offers fans of Yggdrasil’s slots win potential of up to 248,832 pay ways in a game.
Splitz was the first slot to feature the Splitz mechanic. With more than 248,000 ways to win, the feature moves forward the game’s win potential to 25,000 times a player’s initial stake. Last week, Yggdrasil announced a Franchise IP licensing agreement with Asia-focused online casino content provider Flow Gaming. Under that deal, Flow Gaming would be provided with access to Yggdrasil’s end-to-end development process, the YG platform including its newest Game Adaptation Tools & Interface (GATI) product, its game promotional tools via BOOST, as well as to games developed by Yggdrasil’s YG Masters partners.
