It's widely believed that there are no optimal strategies that would guarantee you a win. But there are some clues on how to cut your spendings to a minimum and find more beneficial tricks to increase the chances of winning after all. Roulette with no zero, where the minimal expectation tends to a zero, is very popular, especially if you play at online casinos.
Mathematical expectation
The whole mathematical expectation is happening during the Roulette's wheel rotation. If you bet on the odd / even, you will actually have a 50 / 50 chance, unlike the 47 / 53 in other varieties of the game.
Let's take the following facts for comparison. The mathematical expectation in French Roulette is 1.35%, in European Roulette - 2.7% and in American Roulette - 5.3%. So to in order to win, the player has to come up with a very sophisticated strategy to outbid the casino and win against the odds.
The Tetris Strategy
This strategy applies when you bet on odd / even, red / black, high / low. Here's the following sequence:
- The first bet goes on for the 2 possible outcomes: red and black at the same time;
- A losing increases by one wheres the winning one is decreased by 1;
- The bid that is equal to zero remains unchanged;
- The game ends once the bids are equal.
The strategy of Tetris Roulette without zero as follows:
- The player bets on both an equal chance odd / even. If the Roulette ball fell on the odd. then the next bet on the odd decreased by one bet on the even, on the contrary, increased by one;
- If in the second round the odd one drops again, the next bet on the odd remains unchanged because it's equal to zero, so the bet on the even is again increased by one;
- In the third round where the even number dropped, the player shall increase the bid on the odd by one, and the winning bets on the even should be, accordingly, reduced by one;
- Then continue the sequence of bets as long as the rates are not equal…
This strategy is only suitable for playing Roulette without zero and it's absolutely irrelevant for European or American Roulette games. And here's one thing to remember: if you stick to the strategy of Tetris in Roulette with sector zero or double zero (in American Roulette), this sequence of bets will be unprofitable.
